What types of membership are there?

A

There are a number of various packages available including Vice President; Life Member; Family Membership and an Associate Member as listed below:


• Member £25.00 - 2 admission tickets and 2 badges
• Vice-President £40.00 - 3 admission tickets and 3 badges
• Life Member £250 - 2 admission tickets and 2 badges
• Family membership £35.00 (2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 16)
• Associate membership £15 (under the age of 21 on the day of the show)

Membership of the Society affords the following
Show day benefits:

• Two adult admission tickets.

• Two badges allowing entry to the Members’ area including:

Covered seating area:

The Member’s area has a covered area offering shade from the sun and excellent views of the Main Ring. GRANDSTAND SEATING IN THE MEMBER'S AREA

Members’ Marquee:

Also within the Members’ area is the Members marquee.

Members’ Bar:

Exclusive Members’ bar and seating area – where you can partake, should you so wish, of a delightful Pimms.

Exclusive Members’ Lunch:

You will be seated in the Members’ marquee to enjoy your exclusive pre-ordered lunch – which is available on request. Lunch is served between 11.30am and 3pm.

Free tea and coffee:

Fresh tea and coffee served all day long in the Members Marquee.

Members’ Toilet facilities:

Exclusive Member’s toilet facilities to ensure no queuing.

• Free Programme.
 One free programme given with each Membership. This together with your admission tickets and lunch order form will be sent to you a couple of weeks before the show.

• Forward parking before 11am.

What if I want to bring some friends along with me to the Members’ area?

A

Extra badges to allow entry into the Members’ area can be purchased by Members only from the General Secretary’s marquee at a cost of £3.00.

Show Ball:

Annual Show Ball will be held at The County Ground, Derbyshire Cricket Club on Saturday 16th March.  The evening will include superb food, wine and entertainment.  For further details and tickets please contact Mrs. Alison Hicklin 01332 700142 or email alison@hicklins.co.uk

Members Quiz Evening:

2013 Annual Quiz Evening – always a hit with members  and non members alike - Monday 14th October at The Horsley Golf Club, Horsley commencing at 7.30pm.  Please contact the General Secretary for an application form

Annual General Meeting:

All details of forthcoming events are sent out to Members with an invitation to attend the Annual General Meeting which this year will be held at The Meadows, Cattle Market, Chequers Road, Derby on Tuesday 11th December 2012.  Commencing at 8pm

• Council Membership:
 Paid up members are eligible to become a Member of the Society’s Council and a Director of the Limited Company, Derbyshire Agricultural and Horticultural Society.

• Friends:
Lots of new friends and fabulous times out.
